Red River Gorge Climbing Trip April 23-25


The Red River Gorge is located in Kentucky and is a premiere climbing destination throughout the world. They have everything from beginner level climbing to ultra hard routes for any experienced climbers that want to come and push there limits. if you feel a little hesitant because you don't have any experience don't worry about it. we have all the knowledge and gear you need to go out and enjoy your weekend.

Notice:
The total cost for the weekend is $45 and this covers everything but your food for the travel duration of the trip, also bring extra money because you will make a stop at Miguel's pizza/gear store for a couple ale-8-ones and some dank pizza. This trip is sure to be a great one.

Mt Bike Day Trip Mt Wood Park April 18th


Mountwood Park is one of West Virginia’s largest county parks. 35 miles of biking and hiking trails surrounding the park. A combination of tight, technical single-track and wider ORV trails, Mountwood’s trails offer something for everyone. Every trail has some unique features to them like bridges and some steep climbs and descends. Join us for a great time and some great biking.

Don't have a bike? Don't worry we have a full line of gear and bikes for you to use. $15 is all it will cost for a great bike trip. Just bring some extra money for food on the way down and back, and be ready for a rad time.

Day Disc Golf Trip Columbus May 23rd

Spend the day with OP as we sample a few of the best Disc Golf courses the Columbus area has to offer. On the Itinerary is Blendon Woods, Brent Hambrick Memorial, Griggs and possibly the new Players course near Alum Creek State Park. We can supply you with disc for the day along with a Pinic style lunch the the O.P. chefs will whip up for you. This one day trip will give you a solid taste of what the C-bus disc'n scene has to offer.

It is time to enjoy the month dedicated to the upper lip hair. Mustache March is a month long event dedicated to the men (and a few special women). We will be holding a challenge to raise money and
food for the Athens County Food Bank. A Mustache...aka 'Moustache, stache, tache, tash, mo, nose neighbor, muzzy, lip fuz, flavor savor, is defined as hair above the upper lip. Nose hair blending into the 'stache is also considered part of the stache, though nasty.There will be diffrent catogories for all to enjoy.

So grow out those stashes and buy yourself a small comb because the competition shall be fierce.

Mustache March Rules:
1. All registered participants must be clean-shaven on March 1st, unless they are competing in the pre-existing condition class.

2. Facial hair of any variety is allowed until March 15th, after which point only a mustache is allowed. A mustache is defined as an island of hair that is at least 1cm (root to root) from the nearest body of facial hair. A mustache is an island. Get it? No isthmuses or peninsulas allowed.

3. Registered participants who shave off their mustache prior to judging, or those who refuse to obey to the "island" rule after March 15th are disqualified.


4. Participants will be subjected to a minimum of 2 photographs (before and after) during the course of Mustache March for documentation/humiliation purposes. Additional photography will be solicited. It is highly recommended that you comply to this solicitation for humiliation purposes.

5. Members wishing to compete for the Fakie Award must be present on April 1st at 4pm.

You will need to stop by the Student Center Front Desk on March 1st, between the hours of 7am and 5pm to have your photo taken.

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch
March 21st-27th

Join us for a spring break trip that you will never forget. We will be packing our bags and climbing at the famous Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. It holds approximately 300 sport routes to climb and largest concentration of sandstone bouldering in the United States. All skill levels are welcome to enjoy all that the ranch has to offer. There is also quite the disc golf course and great hiking. Great time for all to be had.



Western Pennsylvania Backpacking Trip
April 9th-11th


Seventy miles of trail in the Laural Highland of Pennsylvania await our boots. Join us as we explore the area and view all of the flora and fauna that his region has to offer. We will only be taking photos and leaving foot prints on this weekend excursion

West Virgina White Water Rafting

Hocking College Disc Golf Tournament
May 29th
That's right. We will be hosting our first ever disc golf tournament on our newly redesigned 18 hole course. This will be non-PGDA tournament that will be open to to all, students, friends, locals, and anyone else who want to participate. We plan to have a kids division too!

Disc Golf Trip to Chilicothe
April 17th
One of the top rated disc golf courses in the state sits right out side of Chilicothe proper. Spend the Saturday with us as we play Pike Lake SP, Great Seal SP and OU- Chilicothes courses. The day will include a Pinic type lunch at one of the state parks.

Mt Wood Park Mountain Biking Trip

ith over 35 miles of clean mountain biking trails there is something for every rider. Some of the most notable are Copperhead Road, Trip to the Moon, Collarbone Cutoff and Haystack trail. They represent the best of what Mt Wood Park has to offer. No equipment is necessary, we have a whole fleet of bikes and gear ready for you to use.
