Mad River Ski day

MAD RIVER SKI DAY!!!

1-10-09

The day started of in the student center parking lot around 8. After every one filled out their paper work we loaded the vans an headed out by 9. All together we had 15 people, everyone from boarders to skiers, first timers, to regulars. The snow, the weather report was calling for was turned to rain, so we hoped for the best. Rainy conditions didn't stop us from enjoying a day on the hill. After a short meeting in the parking lot we hit the slopes. The rain subsided and after the hills were re-groomed the slopes greatly improved. Some of the group tested there skills at the Mad River Terrain Park, while some mastered board slides on kink rails, other hucked themselves off huge kickers. By the end of the day beginners seemed to be getting the hang of it and everyone seemed to be enjoying the great day on the mountain. At around 7 we all decided we had our fill of riding and started on our journey home.
